Photo Feedback Thread (Automotive)

After a conversation between Billboard and I in his build thread I thought this would be a good idea. there will be two versions of this, one for automotive pics and one for all other pics. THIS ONE IS FOR AUTOMOTIVE PICS ONLY.

here are the rules.
1-only post one pic at a time
2-before your picture you must give constructive criticism on at least one picture posted earlier in the thread. what you liked or didnt like, not just "nice pic" either, be specific.
3- do not post in this thread if you cant handle contsructive criticism. not everyone will like your pic as much as you do, and those that do like it may not like it for the same reason as you.
4-if you do not have or choose not to post a pic feel free to offer feedback about pics as well, since that is the point of this thread
5-have fun, this is all about helping each other get better at something we enjoy.

I will begin:

  • I see this process in a lot of commercials, and I've kind of blocked it out of mind as something to pay attention to. In this case it really works for me. Nice job.

is your buddys wagon flint black, also one thing i'd say about the photo is take a couple at each angle, zoom in at various distances and see what comes out best. closer is usually better, you get to see more of the subject. :o

I think that from the angle u took the car, the pic should be more of just the car. Like move the camera closer, because from the angle and where its at it doesnt stand out as much as it should in the pic. Pretty good shot tho.
  • I'm pretty new to photo editing, but heres a couple i messed w/. Criticism plz.

I like the shot and the angle just wish the tree on the right had a little more definition. Kinda of make the car and tree pop from rest of pic.
  • Heres one I worked on a couple of weeks ago. I tried to fix the primer spots on the car but couldnt really get the color right so I left it alone.

I wanted to add the color in the reflection in the water but I still new to the process.
  • ^ That's bad ass. What color is the kayak? I'm wondering what it would have looked like with the kayak in color too?

Great use of the rule of thirds in this one :) I like that its just slightly off center and corners right in the left lower 'third' Car is clean too.. Could've brought more out of the front bumper with the solid black in PS but other than that and the shack in the background, everything is spot on in my eyes

Heres one I shot of my friends 1988 Ford Crown Vic Ltd. It was at my other friends farm using his DSLR, I am by no means a photographer but I thought it was a pretty decent shot.
