wheel bearing?

I've got a shake in my passenger side front wheel. Jacked up... you can grab the wheel at 12 and 6o'clock and shake it up and down. If you look back the cv shakes in unison with the wheel (no play between the two).
I'm assuming this is a wheel bearing. I looked up a replacement bearing and it has a picture of of non taper, sealed looking bearing. Is that the correct bearing? does it slip fit? Will I need to do some disassembling of the front end to press fit a new bearing.
I guess I first need to confirm that it is the bearing. I also need to get off my butt and go track down a decent manual for this car!

Looks like a good sized job to replace, mostly because it takes several different specialized press pieces to take out the old bearing and put in the new.
I've got a small lathe to make press pieces. It's kinda a piece of crap though. Plus my old press took a dump so I've got to go to a friends to use his.
So here's an option I'm lookin at. There's a junkyard not far from here, I talked to them on the phone and he said they have more than one gen4 civic.
I've read in some suspension articles that the front suspensions are the same on the wagons and other civics. I'm not sure if that's suspension/ front brakes also.
I just wanna check to make sure this is true.
I'd hate to pull and pay for the parts, only to find out they don't fit.
which brings me to this question. Why are there not many honda engine builders out there? Everybody just swaps used stuff. I could understand if they were all low mile engines out of japan. But from what I've seen that's not the case.
I'm not knocking people, or just trying to be a dick. But that just seems how hondas are done.
I even tried asking a friend of mine that's an acura freak what a good source for rebuild kits for different honda engines was. He acted like I was out of my mind. "there are so many good honda engines out there... why bother".
that is prob not the answer to your question
ok?, now lets party
: )
So off to the junkyard I go. I'd rather pick up a steering knuckle, replace the bearing, and have it ready to go in when I pull the bad one out.
So I find a 89 4door, and am happy to find both steering knuckles already taken off and sitting in the trunk. But it just so happens that the bearing is bad in this one also.
Owner of the junkyard tells me it's common on the RF wheel bearings and that sometimes the bad bearing will destroy the housing.
Is that true? Has anybody had that happen to there 4gcivic on here?
Anyway. The guy will sell me the whole knuckle for $20. If nothing else I can make the press pieces before I have the car all taken apart. So it will put me ahead of the game even if the housing is bad."
