Found a wagon for the first time at "pull a part"! Got an optional coin tray from it but doesn't fit from 89 to 90 wagon. Gonna get the mint front bumper and mint amber turn signals on friday.
Bought it. Probably the best thing that's happened to her in a long time. She spent a long time parked in somebody's backyard while a previous owner flew off to Africa.
- Installed WBO2 temporarily in the ash try for tuning.
- Thoroughly annoyed the neighbors with hours of rampant street tuning.
- Washed/cleaned the ole wagon.
put a new headlight bulb in
adjusted the roof rack,
stared at the old rt4wd sticker on the back and dreamed of the supercharger that i wish i had
put some seafoam in and had fun watching the smoke.
I called my mechanic and practically begged him to patch up my wagon so I can drive it, at least in the daytime. I smashed up the headlights and maybe the radiator. I've been looking for parts, but he thinks it's a lost cause.
Found a nice rear cargo mat out of an isuzu SUV that fit almost perfectly.
Cut a template for a rear cargo cover for usdm models(gonna work on that in the next few weeks.
Took her to the alignment shop after adding fresh tires. Checked compression, spark plugs, idle. Washed n waxed n took her for a spin.
We washed and waxed my boyfriend's RT4WD and tried to figure out how to fix the taillight. Didn't get very far on the taillight so we just tried not to get it wet.
Getting it all nice and cleaned up for the Transformers 3 meet tonight. Got the new lips on(front and back) lightweight flywheel, 6 puck clutch and HG manual tranny fluid in my new to me trans. Runs great! Nice and smooth and the lips really set it off with the recently painted white wheels.
Well this ended up being a 3 day job lol, but I took off the front and rear bumpers as well as the middle door trim and repainted them. When putting the rear driver's side back on it didn't go on all the way and hit something and broke the clips. Does anyone know where I can get them (I still have the "Z/Tetris" pieces)? I also fixed the fogs, the bracket was put on backwards by the previous owner they look aftermarket and the bumper is all cut up from the fogs.
Got a rack and 2wd Honda mudflaps. Cleaned them up but haven't put them on yet. Kinda not liking the rack, hoping someone out in idaho will trade for the basket kind.

Tomorrow I plan on taking a AWD wagon and scavaging all the parts I need from it to convert the other wagon back to AWD.
