my love to my wagon will be to learn more about it. http://www.amazon.com/Honda-Civic-Servi ... 04&sr=1-20 is this the right manual? if not can you show me i read up some guy had this exact same book. but didnt really say it helped him that much. i have the 1990 RT4WD
i got to do an emergency oil change on the PA turnpike yesterday after i lost my oil drain plug halfway on my trip back to school.
and in case you were wondering, duct tape actually seemed to work as a temporary patch for about 25 miles to the closest parts store, well at least while the car was driving, not so much for when it was parked....
i just replace my shoes on my EF8 and after about an hour and a few wrenches thrown gave up til tomorrow. i then proceeded the next day and it only took me only 10min.!!!! Seriously!!! my advice, invest in a honda service manual, it saves your knuckles and nerves!
by the way.............gave my drwagon some bottle caps.
Damn those look good. I'm trading an OEM '99/00 Si Bra for a set of those. Stoked!
Just bought another RT wagon; '89 Gold/Tan. Damn near stole the thing. 167,000 miles, excellent paint, everything and I mean EVERTHING works, mechanically solid, 9/10 interior, drivers seat isn't torn up, etc. Only bad things is a little bit of wheel arch rust(not cancer yet) and the front passenger fender & corner light are damaged. Oh, forgot to mention the best part. $1000
Only pic I've got right now.
The ad was posted on craigslist at 10:30pm, I called her at 7:45 the next morning and was looking at it at 8:25. She put her home and cell phone numbers in the ad and while I was there both of them were ringing off the hook. She had absolutely no idea what she had. I should get arrested for stealing it.
finally got it back running today! new spark wires, changed valve cover seals, cleaned air filter, ordered new rack and pinion and tie rods, some sanding and some air in the tires and i'll be on my way to the new paint job!
Came up at the junkyard. Two armrest(Tan one for auto seatbelts and maroon one for manual seatbelts), volvo lip and a DA lip. Also came up on some 4x114 5mm spacers, won't use them for my wagon but look out for them on a for sale thread. Please don't mess up this thread by asking for the armrest and if I'm going to sell them. I don't want this to get locked.
Since a couple weeks fun, after getting the wagon, I have added some valve cover (red) paint, a funny Home Depot ABS pvc intake, straight exhaust with Cherry Bomb and 'tuner' muffler and a couple air horns. :P MUCH more to come, (including a non-Home-Depot intake).

Haven't been on here in a while, my car was smoking, the clutch was slipping and I was depressed, glad to be back.
