ha, good stuff. I didn't even read on here about it. i was just at the junk yard and seen it and thought it might fit. eh 20 bucks and it is in mint condition minus fading, gonna clean it up and paint it.oh yeah pics to come.
Cleaned and installed a K&N panel filter I got at the pull-a-part for $2 yesterday, today I will start my 89+ RLCA and endlink custom bushing manufacture and a nice wash.

Yea, I came across mine and figured I'd see what I thought of it, but it's not in the best of shape at all. Today I managed to get another first gen DA lip like I currently have on my wagon in mint condition. Actually in better shape than the one on my car. lol
Swapped my Sony rear speakers for a pair of better Infinity speakers my gf ordered. I talked her into a trade, so my Sonys will go into her CRX. (Of course, I already put my Kenwood speakers into her CRX since they didn't fit my wagon, so it all evens out in the end...)
Showed her off to the 4th grade gifted class at my daughter's elementary school. They were overly impressed, especially when I folded the rear seats back up and let them all pile in. They also oohed and aahed appropriately when I lifted the hood.
Put my carpet back in and painted my roof rack! I also put some nicer Polk Audio 6.5s in the blue wagons pods. 8) Although the carpet raised the seat too much for the bracket we made for the DC seats to work correctly.

well, damn. did you mod it to fit? I need to eyeball those brackets anyhow, need to copy a set for Stephen.
Pretty weak in the states, too. My test was a 15 minute drive around the block. I had to pull over to the side of the road, do a 3-point turn, obey all traffic laws and keep the car on the road. Aced it.

Only later on did I actually learn how to DRIVE.
And you were probably 16 when you did it!
I'll bet you even used an automatic.
In the States, nothing you do before you get your license -- not even driver's ed -- prepares you for your first merge onto the interstate. Or that really busy downtown 4-way stop. It's only with time and experience that you gain the confidence to throw your car among the rest of the traffic and trust the other drivers aren't going to crush you.
Back to topic: I cleaned all the loose trash out, let her float charge for an extra hour, and took off one of the Valentine's Day stickers my wife pasted on.
I in the past week or so changed the rear diff oil and engine oil. put on some new fog lights and ordered an energy suspension master kit and some hawt JDM taillights(mine are cracked and hold water).
some (re)wiring, bought a similar stereo but with digital tv & radio (duh) ...
it's (radio) is fugly, but more important - functional
i like it, more functions to fiddle with
- in the middle of Kahuna's cup holder mod.
- added W/S fluid.
- black Dashmat.
- earlier this week, installed the studded snow tires for what we had on Thu. they're coming off before the road trip.
- new bottle jack (free, can't complain)
due are: swap out the Redline synthetic I put in the transaxle with a 5W. stiff shifting in the cold = not good. wife tends to force it & grind 'em.
she'll get a bath and a vac this week before the NW meet. probably an oil change. still waiting on the valve cover gasket kit.
Taking OUT the Redline to improve shifting?? I just put some in my Miata and it COMPLETELY transformed the shifting for the better. But comparing Miatas and Civics is like comparing apples and hacksaws, or something.
Topped off my leaking trans fluid. Shifts better now.
I was 17 when I got my license - and yes, in an automatic (Jeep Cherokee).

I'm guessing you dont drive the Miata in the snow? You may have missed the part about it being shitty in the cold...

Kinda like spark plugs. WTF would you spend all the money on platinum plugs? Sure, they last longer. But copper is a better conductor. At about $5 for a set of four, why not replace them a couple times a year instead?
Part of the reason I love Hondas, the engineering is already done. They spent billions developing and choosing what oil to put in my motor. Why would I put something else in there because I read it was 'better' on a forum?

I found some DA seats there TAN!!
I'll post picks of the install, Aw yeah. I'm so pumped!!
Big ego booster!
CAR passed
APK, MOT, TüV, Controle Technique
certified for another 14 months ...
Only have to renew license every 10 years here and i'm pretty sure you don't even sit a test until you are like 65.
Warrant of fitness = 6 months
Registration = 3, 6 or 12 months
14 months is a long time for things to happen to a car...
hm hmm ... go figure ...
Our drivers license requirements are pretty weak. I hear it's quite difficult in Europe to obtain and keep a license.
Only later on did I actually learn how to DRIVE.
ha ha ha same here

Today I drilled holes in the boot floor of my wagon to let aaaalllllll the water out
I also took it for a drive and got it all dirty
