swapped out LCA's for DA Integra LCA's with mount holes for the rear sway bar. Put a new front lip on it from a late 90's Acura TL.

new hids with relays and some tweeters. still needs to be lowered going to pep boys to get it loosened.
  • Replaced my RT4WD's alternator, and lemme tell ya, it's a toight (like a "toiger") squeeze... Searched HCW and debated pulling it out via top or bottom.... went top side and made space by removing my master cylinder from the booster (two nuts) but left brakelines attached to resevoir (no leaks, no bleed) then GENTLY pulled the resevoir outta the way... Removing the plastic shield from under the FL corner of the car is a must for access to the back end of the alternator mounting bolt... Took about 2hrs at a lazy pace and with the learning curve...

My only problem is the little white plastic "loom" which keeps the 3 brakelines seperate and paralell (located on the firewall) popped off, and now the lines are touching and all akimbo...

Question: Am I tempting Death leaving it as is? I've heard the old wives tales about rubbing lines, leaks and tragedy, but getting the lines back into the loom seems impossible without detaching one end of the brakelines to release the tension they're under... and then bleeding the brakes, yada yada yada, pain in the ass
  • just installed 2" tow receiver hitch from eckhart but i dont like it. stamperm is way better coz mine is welded to the spare wheel tub. grrr i thought those locos were good.

Finally go my new plates. Had to get creative with the front, the bolts are rusted solid. Used the Charb method of plate relocation, zipties ftw!

Picking up a new front right axle from Kragen today, gonna swap that in soon...

Also (on an unrelated note), changed my avatar

Don't think I've ever relocated one of my own plates, I've done it on mates cars though.

    Lol I'm an idiot...

Somehow managed to mix up you and Charb, I used the same method he used in his build thread. I realized that I might have messed that up and came back to double check it.

Not sure about the line issue. I've always taken all my 4th gen alternators out from the bottom of the car though.

I replaced my rear dome light cover last night, it was missing when I bought the car and my eye went straight to it every time I looked in the rearview mirror. also gave her a bath and a good vac.
