I replaced the thermostat in my GF's 2WD DX. First time I ever did this, so I had to do it twice. I did not clean the mating surfaces of the housing the 1st time around, so it leaked antifreeze. Heater works niiice now.
spent a couple hours washing and cleaning it up, took it to a show tonight and won best old skool jdm lol. post up pics as they come up. i didnt take any but a few friends took pics of everyones car.
well after i did an oil change and coolant fill up i left work to only be harassed by some ek coupe so I decided to use my dohc power and smoked him! well at the next red light i smell sumtin burnin and saw the ever so dreadful white smoke comin from under the hood! Expecting the worst I realize my dumbass forgot to put the oil cap back on and had the most exciting oil cleanup in california at 3 in the morning! FML!
I mounted the pair of Hakka 2s and the pair of Michelin Artic Alpins that I bought yesterday on my wagon today...one day after the snowstorm I drove in to pick them up! Ironic?
PS: I picked up the pair of Hakka 2s and three Michelin Artic Alpins (all used for only one season) for a mere $40 for the five of them!
Got new windsheild wiper squirters from Honda installed now. The fronts work great. The rear squirter does not work, I don't know why yet. I also got an OEM gas cap for it. The gas cap I replaced was super hard to unscrew.
since buyin a week ago, filled gas tank, new distributor, cap, rotor, front and rear upper strut bars, oil change, black integra steering wheel, new spark plugs and wires

if u take off your spoiler there is a lil one way valve that is mostlikely clogged up and not working proper or alteast thats why mine wasnt working....
I thought about ours today. Out of the blue. Thinking when would be a good time to go to the In-Law's to work on it again? and, whether or not I can convince my husband to let me funk it up a little? Hmm... I guess our wagon got love in spirit.
Bought a new blower motor last week from Autozone and finally got around to installing it the other day. Now my feet are nice and toasty warm instead of feeling like they are going to fall off and I don't have to drive around on the highway in 15 degree weather with my window cracked open so my windows don't fog up. Just need to put the glove box back.
in the middle of nowhere pretty
close to the highway (farmland)
i had to swerve for a little kitten...
going a stray in the middle of the road...
yay, for 4WD...
it had a plastic bag over its head...
obviously an attempt to feed itself
with somebody's lunch/litter/leftover...
and couldnt see where it was going...
stopped (grrr...cold) and freed that
silly kitty...
it was a close call, and imho
a matter of time, something
bad could happen, dark, snow, water...
oil and filter change
got my auto seat belts working
installed a newer hinge for my rear hatch (old one rusted and broke)
replaced front brake pads and rotors
replaced spark plugs
next week will be thermostat, climate control, and rear brakes.
rear mud flaps
passenger side mirror
driver side body skirt(think that's what they're called). - I bought my car without them and am just not getting around to pulling them off my parts wagon.
Next week - oil change, thermostat, new windshield wipers and muffler
New tire for the front!! went lower some more! Now front lip is about 1 inch off the ground pics when the sun comes back to visit!! Show on sun stoked! O and i cleaned up side moldings so i could paint them!! Thanks to Bam-Bam for showing me how to remove i now have a bunch of left over clips!!
Friday: plugs, ohmed the plug wires, valve cover gasket, oil change
Saturday: Junk yard trip. Got new hood, T bar, side trim, passenger mirror, rear hatch struts, headlights, headlight mounting cups, corner markers.
Sunday: Installed all.
My wagon had rear ended a cab and the hood was crumpled, both headlights pointed in wierd directions. I took apart the front end and found that the major damage was to the headlight mounting brackets. replaced the hood and t-bar. the new headlight brackets made the lights and turn signals point the right direction, and now it looks like a wagon!!
