replacing gears and syncro in a realtime trans

hello to all and thanks in advance for any advice and info.
Heres the deal, I got a 91 civic hatch, I converted it to the realtime 4wd, and turbo'd it and its making around 400hp. You can see the writeup on it on honda tech. Its epic tunings project. There are also some vids on youtube. All in all the trans and drivetrain are holding up awesome, although the syncros are starting to go as it grinds going into gear. I have a spare trans that I plan on taking apart and rebuilding, my question is should I keep the gears that are in it and just replace the syncros? Or is there a stronger gearset that would be better. I have heard that these transmissions are pretty strong and to be honest the gearing kinda works for me with the turbo setup. I really dont track this car at all, its mainly my street car that is dependable and I drive 3 times a week or so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

You can have the gears heat treated to make them stronger. There is a company called Gearspeed that does that.
Honestly, I think other stuff will break before the actual gears break.

You need to disassemble and inspect the engagement dogs on the gears to see if you can get away with only replacing the brass synchro rings.
