sup everybody... My name is Gm0... aka honda_b18 on honda-tech... after my request and emailin and emailin the mods i finally became a member on the website... i recently just purchased my wagovan.. been wanting on for a couple years but never got to buying one... i am and old skool honda lover... i have a mad love for EF's and DA's...
here is the whole story about my wagovan adventure... IF YOU DONT WANNA READ I DONT BLAME YALL... BUT TO THOSE OUT THERE WITH NOTHING TO DO... UR MORE THAN WELCOME... IF NOT JUST SCROLL DOWN TO THE PIX!! =D
well i asked everyone and there momma for some money so i can get this wagon.. it was posted on craigslist for a month and no one bought it...
So JULY 19th 2008 i turned 20... i wake up to a friends text... and i decided to ask him for money again... long story short... he says yeah ill let u borrow the money...($1500)
so i get out of bed... tell my mom i am going to houston.. and she's like wtf?!? lol well whos driving out there with you... i'm like idk ill call around... well i call around but everybody is either busy or not picking up...
so i book a flight to houston from dallas... only 45 min flight... so i just grabbed my wallet... phone... and go... lol
get to houston and i get picked up from some guy that works at the car lot where the wagon was it...
get to the car lot... car is completly stock... but pretty minty... i fell in love then and there...
so i buy the car... from $2150 down to $1500... yay!
well it was my bday so i was trying to come back home to party... but only 30 mins into the long 4 hour drive back the bish starts overheating... i'm like wtf... well luckely i have homboys in houston and he has a shop... so i stopped by and we checked it out... and by the looks of it... it didnt have much coolant at all... so i'm like good... got late so i stayed the nite...
next day i am on the drive back again... and it started overheating again... soo bad it blew the radiator hose... finally friend meets me up we change it but we left it on to see if it made a difference and NO!
head gasket was blown... so we decided to go back to the shop and change the motor out... so we did... put a 92 eg 8 valve d15 in there... slow as fack but it worked... swaped it and ran it... i left it on for a couple mins and it overheated too!!
the intake manifold gasket was leaking... fuck!! so i cant do nothin cuz autoparts were closed... wait till the next day to change it out... did it and finally it ran like a dream...
drove 4 hours home on a monday nite... note i was there since saturday and i missed monday of work for this wagon!! put me thru a weekend of hell!!
sorry for the long ass story... not sure if most if yall read it... but to those who did... thanks!!
well on to the pix... here is how i brought it home...
then i decide to cut the springs while i save up for some suspension...
oh and i put on my del sol fats on there...
then decided to put my brakes on...
then installed my cheap ass fake fogs!! i love them!
and go for a wash..
and i put my new stickerz on!!
so this is the new stance!!

i am in the process of selling my del sol... once that is done... project gsr is comin!!
cant wait... so if anyone has some parts lmk...
and since everyones love the DA soo much.. here he goes washin it...
means alot to hear that from one of the top guys that have alot of inspiration to my car!!

and he is still waiting on his camber plates so he can tuck the rear more...
