Auto will not downshift!

Like title says.. .


Its a 91 Auto RT4WD wagon, and when I nail the throttle, it will not downshift. Hasn't done it since I owned the car. The kick down cable is on, and everything is hooked up right. Any ideas?

    Make sure you have no vacuum leaks. Might have a vacuum assisted kick down of sorts. I'm not to sure about that on Honda's, but most automatics have vacuum assists.
