These were taken last Sunday coming back from the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre which houses the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada.
I work with the guy who discovered the fossils of Betsy, a 20-foot long Plesiosaur. It is on display beside a 43-foot Mosasaur.
These are creatures that lived during the Cretaceous period (between 135 and 65 million years ago). This may come as a shock to some of you but, no, the world is not 6,000 years old.
Anyhow, I decided to take a few shots of the sky because it was such a beautiful and typical Manitoba day.
Enjoy !!
Gee, how can you tell I'm Canadian? Tim's anyone?
Nothing but blue skies, white clouds and green prairie.
