Rear Diff broke need help!

I was driving to the DMV and started to hear some clunking in the rear. At first I thought maybe it was one of the CV axles gone bad. Got off the freeway into side streets toward the DMV and then all of a sudden a loud KONK - whole car seizes up and a UPS truck almost rear ends me. I slowly get it to the curb. I put it in reverse, and can move it forward a bit but when I look underneath, gear oil is splattered and bleeding out of the diff onto the floor. I had to get it towed to a local Honda mechanic :(

Anyone have and extra one of these lying around they wanna sell? Is this an easy part to find? The mechanic is gonna check it out and get back to me...so I have no idea what kind of ass reaming I have coming to me.

I've had my wagon for a week! Any advice would be much appreciated

    look around at your local junkyards there are a couple of 4wd wagons near me. the rear diff go for under $100 you just have to pull it out yourself.

    I know of one in a junkyard in ohio, I'm sure you can find one a little closer though.
