How'd the front bumper go, do they fit?

I have only test fitted it at this stage, it is still in primer needs sanding etc.

Fitted ok with PFL support, just need to adjust it a little and adapt the filler panel.
I am lacking motivation so it may be some time

Damn nice! Does your hatch window have a tint to it? It looks kind of bronze in the the third picture down.

I think its just dirty

I only just peeled the tint off the rest of the windows, so they all got washed to get the sticky stuff off, I forgot to do the hatch one

Just uploaded a vid of my drive out to Matahina Dam, its not perfect as I had to hold the camera, and steer and change gear at the same time. Was a spur of the moment sort of thing so didnt have my tripod in the back

Hows the front bumper install coming?

Its sitting on the lawn right where i left it a couple weeks ago.

Im busy studying for some regulation exams for being a electrician and im working on the Integra, just got some Tein Coilovers for it
  • NZ-DB8RNZ-DB8R Moderator
Well Exam is done, but its winter and raining so not really in the mood for cars right now.

Heres a couple pics of how the shuttle sits as of 11am this morning:

Oh and have fitted some Tein Type RA coilovers to the Integra, 14kg front springs 10kg rear (stiffer than a schoolboy at beach vollyball)

    Shuttle Update (kinda going backwards)

Have a WOF this week (6monthly vehicle inspection) so have raised the back up and put the steels back on as the rear tyres have massive camber wear and may or may not pass
    90.jpg
    91.jpg

Have also moved out of home etc so progress will be slow for a little longer till I build my funds back up, Integra stays at my parents as I cant get it up the driveway, had a professional photoshoot for a calender about a month ago so will have some fancy pics of that soon

    lookin' good.
    good to see it again.
  • Cheers ^^

Passed the WOF, so back is lowered again, going to need new tyres on both sets of my wheels soon, might just get another set  Was thinking something around 15x8" +25et if I can find them.

Nice and clean for now, its spring here so there is a heap of pollen falling at the moment, leaves all cars slightly yellow
  • Not a Shuttle update this time unfortunately, im spending money on the Integra instead :D

Have a BuddyClub Fixed back seat arriving this week, I Bride Lower seat Rail, Blow Rear Camber arms and recently just received my Stainless Benen Strut Brace:

    369.jpg
Had to mod is slightly to fit, bent aircon line about 15mm and ground down the suspension studs closest to the firewall as the Tein ones are longer than OEM

Then went for a drive to "test" it out:

  • Haha, its to useful to get rid of, it is the car that does everything
  • very nice! both cars, what is that bumper off of, i think i missed it??
  • Thanks

Bumper on it now is OEM, second bumper I have is a facelift EF Hatch one, aka JDM EF9

Second hand Thule Roof racks to carry Kayak around.

Im dropping my EF9 bumper off to a bodykit maker next week as he was after one to make a mold for a J's Racing Style Front lip

Well Summer is here, as my sunburnt arms can attest to

Got a few looks cruising through town like that, shuttle went well, got the brakes nice and hot (could smell them from the car behind aparently...) though it has now developed a nasty rattle which im pretty sure is a header brace or something that has snapped due to some.....spirited driving on my behalf

Nice shuttly I used to own a civic in that colour, the integra 4 door is very impressing!

Cheers, I actually really like the colour, when I was looking for a shuttle I didnt care about colour so long as it was 2wd and Injected, this was just the first to come up for sale so I jumped on it.

The Integra is slowly getting there, Im still not happy with it though, I can see all the little imperfections

In other News the Shuttle actually as a New part :o

  • Well I broke it, gearbox input bearing or thrust bearing imploded, so what better time than to throw a Bseries at it, it was in the long term plan but its been fast tracked.

An OBD0 B18c conversion package will be delivered next week thanks to Chris from "Strong for Honda" here in NZ, will give that a quick freshen up whilst its on the floor then throw it all in one weekend before XMAS.

Heres my EF8/9 Front knuckles which im in the process of getting ready:
