Those wires you can see are for the strobe light, I just put it in quickly and ran out of light (its winter over here) to get it tidy, its on my list of things to do.
Yep cargo cover still folds up normally, unfortunately the carpet is what acts as a hinge, and after 19years of use its starting to show this.
Need to make some new hinges at some stage
Back can go one circlip groove lower, front only has one perch mount so will have to get another machined in.
Used Cobra front and King rear springs, I have a feeling the front are only "low" and not "superlow". Will try pick up some better springs at some stage.
I'm so unfamiliar with this style of suspension, I'm used to standard mcpherson and leaf springs
I was just gonna throw some superlows in all round with shorter hatch rear shocks, and just knock a coil off if needed (shortening shocks to keep captive)
Yea, your shocks wont have circlips they will have one perch height.
I was told the springs are "superlow" but I suspect they are not, as the shocks are shorter than stock yet still havnt given much of a drop.
I will investigate when I get a spare moment
Thanks guys, wheels are next on the list, front has settled a little bit, but still needs to go lower, will see how it looks with some wheels.
In the mean time I came across this, and couldnt say no:
I dont know how many of you have the problem of water finding its way into the boot, but after rain I would have a decent size swimming pool in the boot, so this sunny saturday morning I decided to investigate, and found this:
Rusty water, great!
So I decided it was tail light seals, pulled them out and sure enough looks like thats where its getting in, being a apprentice electrician I always have silicon sealant handy. So this is how its sits now:
Had a bit of money left in the bank so went and got some driving lights:
Decided that the bottom of the bumper looked horrible so I painted it and the lip nice gloss black, in the future I think I will paint all the trim and the mirrors, but probably satin rather than gloss.
Yea same, I only had gloss paint lying around though, its only cheap paint and will polish right off
So when I have another cruisy weekend (not likely due to integra needing a clutch) I will re-do it in either mat or satin along with all other trim and the mirrors
Got the new wheels today, need to give them a tidy up but that can be done later.
Got 2 of them on for a quick look and I really need to go lower
looks really good. love the steering wheel. two questions"
what kind of tow hook is that on the back?
when are you going to paint the new wheels green?
it's looking good.
i liked the hubcaps better personally.
I liked how they looked in some ways, but they were to narrow and I do quite a few long trips in this and there are some bloody good roads (ive had comments from Americans say that they didnt know roads like these existed, refering to corners etc) so I like to be able to push it through the corners.
Now I need to sort out getting the front about 30mm lower, then replace the front discs with some that arnt warped
Comments
and i agree on the photoshop... looks real clean!
Gotta do something about those wires, though. Route them under the cargo cover, perhaps?

After a lot of rain this week it seems to have done the trick.
Suspension settled but I want it lower:
x2 me too

Also painted up the back muffler but no pics
you should definitely go with satin paint though.. the lips a bit too shiny for my taste right now

15x7" +35 ABT wheels with 195/55/R15 tyres
Will need to tidy them up so thinking of polishing the lip and colour coding the spokes to the car
Got 2 of them on for a quick look and I really need to go lower
What do you all think?
what kind of tow hook is that on the back?
when are you going to paint the new wheels green?
keep it up, its coming together nicely.
Tow Hooks is a J's Racing one for DC2, got it for my TypeR and didnt like it so it ended up on here for a laugh.
Im actually thinking of painting the spokes of the wheels blue, the same as the body work and leaving the lip polished.
I am looking for some Neuspeed race springs to drop it a bit more, rear can go slightly lower as it is but will look uneven.
Hadnt though about a rear lip but might get one as some stage, does it fit straight on?

I like how it looks now, changes the stance a lot
