[EE/EY/EF] Installation of Rear Wiper Controller
4WD-TwinCam
Wagonist
Hello all, I decided to remove my rear speaker pods and intermitten rear wiper controller from my old wagon and install them into my new wagon, while doing so I'll write a how to on both since I didnt see one and I forgot who it was that PM'd me with a question about this wiper unit. So here we go.
Step 1: Obtain The Unit & Ditch This Pocket
Step 2: Remove Under Dash Panel - Coin Pocket - Steering Column Cover (helps also to remove the cluster if you wish, to access 1 hidden screw ontop to allow more freeplay on the dash to slide this in)
Step 3: Remove All Necessary Screws Holding The Plastics Down
Step 4: Mentally Prepare To Micky Mouse This Thing Into The Hole
This Picture Shows The Two Holes That Need To Be Aligned Behind The Dash
Step 5: Install The Controller - Screw It Down
Step 6: Install & Route The Sub Harness - Tee's Into The Steering Column Wiper Switch
Step 7: Reinstall Parts In Reverse Order - Enjoy the 0 to 20 second delay!

Awesome pics and write-up!!
Now, tell us, who is this mysterious "ebay japan seller that ships to the USA" ??
Cheers !!
That would be quite a bit more complex than adding an adjustable delay. Surely some foreign model civic or rex got some sort of adjustable front wiper delay.
Raintracker makes one.I think it was $60-$80(shipping cost??).Won't read if you get Rain-X over the sensor.Looks like a good option based on cost.
I'm thinkin 1 for the front & 1 for the rear.
