Well, in the Teggy I used to run 5w-30 Valvolene. Basically Honda just puts thier name on that stuff and calls it Honda oil. Now though, vtec seems to eat up oil rather quickly at 9500rpms, so I started using carquest crap during race season. I still use the Valvolene in the winter though. I read a deal in Consumer Reports about oils, synthetic and regular. They said there was absolutly zero difference in the two other than the Royal Purple (race grade) and Redline fluids. I run Redline fluids in all my trannys. Helps the synchros last longer.

Our engines aren't designed to run on a fully synthetic oil, only semi-synthetic.

    I run Penzoil 10w30 semi-synthetic

I use full synthetic currently but I think my engine suffered when I went back to regular oil the other day :x

After driving around for the past 48hrs since I did the oil change, my car runs pretty darn good. I'm gonna stick to Mobil One synthetic.
