distributor question.

Let me display my Hondignorance  . The diz I took off the blue wago had a condenser on it, the one I put on does not. (condenser inline in the coil+ wire, mounted on the front of the diz.)

What's the difference?

Ive used both setups in the same car on the same day with no issues.

I think the earlier ones came with that inline condenser and the later ones had it internally or something. Shouldnt be a show stopper.

Got a couple more questions for you gurus:
When setting the timing, i couldn't find the little connector to jumper in the right footwell like on my '90. Today I saw this?

And what grounds here/what are these relays? I laid my arm on the bracket and it burnt me- cleaned and tightened, just wondering what it's for..

  • Is jumping the connector necessary on obd0 cars? Moving the dizzy changes the timing at idle without the jumper jumped and unless someone can prove that the ecu pulls/adds timing to make up for it under throttle then I think this is just a myth.

still wondering where the timing connector thingy is on the '88, or is that yellow plug it^? It ain't under the glovebox, I've got all that out cleaning the evaporator and fan/housing.
