picked up a DOHC ZC to swap into the wagon a couple weekends ago. I'll be replacing the timing belt, water pump and any gaskets that might leak before I swap it in. And yes, the valve cover will be painted once the engine is in the car.
nice updates.
it's been awhile since you've posted.
(i have a real bike attachment for sale if you want to buy it in october)
thanks, but yeah, it has been a while, I've made a few posts recently but i've been busy on the local forum.
i got ride of those fake bike attachments, i haven't been riding much anyways. too many things going on right now. I had a hernia repair surgery the beginning of july and i have an appointment in eugene, which is 3 hrs from where i live, tomorrow (8/26) for my jaw surgery, (had to switch dr's cuz the one i was seeing wanted $4000 upfront to even schedule the surgery and with this new one i only have to pay $250.
anyways, basically, i've just been really busy!! thanks for checkin in though!
Going to be replacing the water pump and timing belt this weekend. Also going to try and fit in some time to get the motor mount inserts installed as well.
...Had to sell the ZC because I needed the money, sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
been there, done that...
for like 10 years.
it sucks when you have priorities and want to keep your cash flow in check.
good to see the small work being done.
that's better than nothing.

I've been there way too many times and this happens to fall into another time of need.
I'm planning on getting rear lca's and coilovers in the next few months. Hopefully that'll happen!
yo go in to off topic disscution and sign in to the northwest wagon roll call, so we can get a meet and a crew going also if you know anyone else from the nw let them know to!
I haven't gotten around to install any of the motor mount inserts, will probably only do the front and rear to begin with possibly this upcoming weekend.
Strut rod bushing are on back-order. Should have those by the end of the month.
Finished a new lip for the wagon tonight. Doesn't fit perfectly (no heat gun) but I think it looks ok. It's an airdam off a Chevy S-10 pickup. Side note, these airdams are not wide enough for the wagon bumper, so I had to get 2 of them and section it. And yes, those are rivots.

My offroading equates to driving across my lawn to park, I have gauged a track with my headers
looks like a lot of fun! my next wagon will have to be slightly lifted
that's funny! I went out shooting that day and decided to take a few pics
that's stock height, the tires on the 16" wheels are only 1/2" taller than the tires on the stock RT steelies.
