So like a dumbass I sold a few parts off the b-wagon when it first blew up to a friend with a shop that needed a cable to hydro converter for a customers car asap. No big deal, he'll replace before I get another motor. Well sure as shit after I get the motor in I go to unpack the converter and its completly different. So now I need millwork done and no longer have access to a mill. So the waiting game begins.
So in the meantime, I need to keep points at the local autox's to keep ahead in class for yearend trophy. I figure I can just steal some parts off my soon to be traded DB1 and make the d-wagon a bit more competitive.
So I install my Progress coilovers, rear 22mm swaybar, Suspension Techniques Proarms, Dropforks, and front 19mm swaybar. Heres a pic of the rear setup.
Its hard to see, but I drilled some different mounting holes at the bottom of the rear struts to bring hte back down a little since the DA rear stuff is generally on teh tall side. Well it worked great. Dropped the back almost 2" and gained me a ton of camber, which is what I was really after. What was also cool is I was able to raise the rear coilover up afterwards and gained some ride quality back. Turned into a win win. New pic with the rear dump installed.

where can i find some of those LCAs?
You wont. They stopped making them years ago. Very hard to find. Its the drop forks that are tha gold. With both pieces they lower the Hondas 1.5" without changing the geometery at all. Ive tried talking to them at SEMA and they jsut arent interested in making them anymore due to the fact that Honda has changed their suspension to Macphearson struts. I told them that all they had to do was offer them for 92+ Civics and they would sell a shit load (EF/DA owners could convert to DC or EG struts if they wanted them). They told me to see how much intrest I could get, so I posted threads on numorous forums but got very little feedback, so I gave up. I would personally buy a set for every car I own. They are badass parts. I could get my DB1 1.5" lower than any other DA in the area. Even the ones on air. Tuckin 15's really pisses off the show goers that can barely tuck 18's with air/hydros.
Thanks for the comps too:) Im loving this car more and more. Turbokit soon. All I need to a manifold that lets me keep my AC and its forced. Hahhaa, Im turboing a 300k mile D16A. I love it.
SPC and a few others make them in aluminum but they have no camber adjustments like the ST ones did. You can tell by looking at them that the drop from the ST setup is far more than aluminum equivilant. Heres a pic of a friends car with a similar setup. Look at how far up the bolt is that attaches the spindal on my car versus this one. You can also see where he drilled his shocks out for a little bit more drop too. His are made by Megan Racing.
