ohhhhhh boy. alright, in that case YEAH you best let someone else do it LOL!
haha, if it is honestly bolt off disconnect some wires, connect some wires, bolt on. i think i can do it. jack the car up about 3 feet, stick in the jack stands and go at it.
you'll have to drain the fluid then remove the passenger side axle. then unbolt all the bolts along that connect the tranny to the engine block. there are maybe 10-15. then disconnect the pass. side motor mount, the rear engine mount as well as the front. basically only leaving the drivers side engine mount connected. after this the tranny will slide off. oh, dont forget to first disconnect all electrical plugs and basically anything that connects to the tranny... like linkages, etc.
pretty much thats all. and also anything else in your way. rofl.
you? hmmm..... a couple weeks :P jk jk, idk dude, i've never seen you work. haha
i have good work ethetic, and i'm dedicated to what im doing. haha.
plus i have my big muscled room mate to help me. he has a brain of dirt and girls but he can probably pick the car up, so most likely i wont need a jack.
but on a real note, i would be working on it until the job is done, i wouldnt stop for this and that etc. i don't see unbolting and disconnecting something took you 12 hours? or is it the putting it back in part thats hard to do?
it was everything man, taking out the axle, disconnecting the crap, undoing shift linkage, then sliding off the tranny.... the hardest part was putting the tranny back by myself because my friend just watched me do it.... took like 2 hours just to align the efkin thing into the crankcase slpline thingies... anyways, i was a bigger n00b then but its still work.
I've done Ford Escort transaxles myself in one day...out and in...
on the floor ...
Civic...stinking Civic ...with good tools and OK floor jack ..it a one day operation!
Cheers!

what size mm are the bolts on the tranny? 10mm?
10 mm bolts are for stuff like the fenders.
the tranny uses 17mm bolts.
step 1: locate the tranny and convince yourself its small, lolz.
i assumed 3 feet since he said 16" and my neighbor has a jack for a truck that i'd have to put under my car after i already used the stock honda jack.
36 inches in 3 feet... haha the entire front end of the car isnt even 3 feet high
martin, slap me. for some reason i had in my head 12" is 2 feet.
 how'd you know!???!
would i need to remove anything else to pull the tranny?
pretty much thats all. and also anything else in your way. rofl.
how long should this take ME?
