murky brake fluid in reservoir(=means BAD fluid)

question is for my 88 mazda 323 wagon. murky brown brake fluid in reservoir. what's this all about?

    Easy ...brake fluids broken down.Needs to b replaced.Normally should b replaced every 2-3 years,but most peeps don't.

    Take a Turkey Baster suck out as much as possible,then fill with new fluids.Now bleed out all the lines.

    shouldn't he refill it, then bleed the lines, then refill it again?

    no, he needs to drain as much as he can like SiWagon said...then refill it fresh, bleed lines, refill again...etc

    It's easier & faster to suck out the fluid than to bleed out the fluid besides u don't want to bleed out the fluid with all the sediment,rust & water going through the line.

    this will probably help with the insanely soft pedal feel i am getting. i'll try and get around to it this weekend.
