My previous wagon

I found these pics on my hard drive, and figured I'd share. A few years ago, I was *GIVEN* a 1991 FWD 5sp wagon. FREE!!! It wouldn't hold a charge, got replaced, and then the owner was forced to unload it in a hurry when she had to move. I snagged it, replaced the battery (and the rusted out exhaust), and had a perfectly functional wagon.

I didn't really mod it. I had the fog lights left over from a previous car. It had an 8-ball shift knob a friend gave me. I snagged an extra set of wheels (from a Toyota Tercel, of all things) and put some good Yokohama snow tires on them. Installed a basic CD/MP3 player, and my ham radio, and that's really about it.

Well, except for the secret weapon - the genuine Civic Type R badge. :D In the true ricer Type R spirit, the car had absolutely NO performance modifications.

In the end, I didn't really appreciate the car as much as I should've. I sold it to a friend for $1000 and bought a $200 truck from work. I actually turned a profit, since I got it for free and put about $500 of parts into it. Felt a little bad about that for a while - until he got $1300 for it as a trade-in.

It's the one car I've actually regretted giving up. So when my current RT4WD wagon became available, I knew it was too good to pass up.
