Uh oh... one more question. Will this work with 14" wheels? integra wheels, I'm guessing they will integra wheels should work on integra suspension.

yeah it'll work with 14s, not with 13s though so bye bye DX steelies haha
  • Picked up the full DA front knuckle brake setup for free from a friend. I have to replace the same bearing that's bad on my car right now but I can't complain.

The same car I got the knuckles from has a good master cylinder. Has anybody ever tried to use one on there wagon? It's fairly new, and I would think it would be bigger (since the brakes are bigger).

you'll need the brake booster as well, because the integra MC bolts like this / while the civic is like this \

i have a 15/16 MC on my car, and it made the pedal feel firmer.. if you do the teg brake upgrade you should definitely upgrade those as well.
  • cool... looks like I'm gonna have some big ol' brakes, in my slow ass car.
  • ...in my slow ass car.

    so, who needs brakes [jk]
  • Don't forget the proportioning valve if you are gonna run discs in the back
  • I've got a small window of time to go pull the master cylinder and booster off this DA integra tomorrow. It's the same car the knuckles brakes came off of. ABS master... the 1" one (woo-hoo)

Anybody pulled one of these boosters before. I just gotta throw together a small tool bag to yank it off. Like I said, I've got a small window of time so if any combo of wrenches works best let me know.

It looks like a simple four bolts. I just wanna be able to get everything as quick as possible. (murphys law rules my life... If I don't ask I'll show up only to figure out that everythings tucked up so that only a certain combo of tools will get it loose)
    thanks for your help!

you do NOT want to use a brake booster from an ABS integra. its a no go... check this link:

as far as taking it out, its a bitch =) very crammed little space. but the four bolts are not tight really so its not too bad. just gets me cluster phobic.

you can use the ABS master and booster. You just can't mix a ABS booster with a non-ABS Mc... or non ABS booster with a ABS MC.

Got it pulled today. Bolts under steering wheel weren't that bad, clip from pedal to the booster was fairly easy to get loose. The main pain was clearing the booster out of the car. The wiring harness kinda runs under it tucked into a corner. I had to pull that harness most of the way out so the booster had room to wiggle out.

But now I've got a 1" master cylinder booster setup... sweet!
