ECU Code 16 - Fuel Injector updated 4/26

removed my fuel injectors, then put them back in and she runs... odd.
still throwing code 16 though.... any ideas?

no unbolted everything and removed that line the way you told me to. took about 3 minutes, didn't bump anything. put it back on the same way.
could it be the line coming from my fuel injection? maybe i got paint in the line that comes from the valve cover? :?:
also, check for your main relay click.
i here the click, it's been sitting about an hour.. she just turns over and over and over and won't crank. i'm not smelling gas :?: so maybe it really is my fuel injectors.
i painted my dpfi top too. but i made sure it was dry completely and i only painted the top not the bottom :roll:
idk, its kind of exciting not knowing what it is. it makes me think. but i hate it at the same time. i love learning about my car.
haha thats a good attitude when you crank it do you wait for the check engine light to go off before you turn the key? or do you turn the key write away. this may be dumb, but i works for me...
when you stick the key in the ignition, turn it all the way to crank position right away. dont wait for the CEL or the beeping to stop. this way you are cranking while the fuel pump is still running. when i do that my car starts up in like 2 seconds. if i leave it till the CEL and beeping stops it takes like 5 seconds.

but i dont think its really such a big issue seeing as the first issue wasnt either. haha.
i say keep turning trying to crank the car. crank it for a few seconds. take the key out, then try again. over and over.
idk, that might be dumb. but if its a main relay issue thats what helped me when i have main relay issues.
all i disconnected was what was needed to remove the valve cover and the 4 screws to remove the dpfi lid. 8) i removed them quite sexy like might i add.
now she just wants to be ignorant because i painted the vc and injection lid baby blue instead of hot pink, dumb whore. i'm going outside with a knife, sledge hammer and some wirecutters and i'm going to threaten her until she runs.
id be pretty pissed too though if i was a car and you painted me baby blue.

it's kind of a darkish baby sky blue? that didn't make sense. but thats how she looks! it's.....cute?
could it be from paint falling into my fuel injection chamber then through my fuel injectors causing them to clog? ( i have no idea if thats possibly but i have a HUGE mind on what if's)
no there is not way paint would have gotten into the fuel injectors. unless you sprayed paint into the fuel tank and managed to get it throught the fuel lines into the injectors :P
it couldn't of just ran this morning then now it doesn't because shes angry she got painted. :x
could it be compression maybe?

if you can go to a juknyard and find a spare injector that might help.
i probably need new ones anyways, they've never been replaced.
and a random question how come when im in drive 3 i get better mpg then drive 4?
