Blinking S4 box

Its a 91 RT4WD Wagon.

S4 box is blinking, and it rides kinda high (RPM wise) on the freeway.

Would does that mean? I hit the button by the shifter and it doesn't do crap.. What's going on here.

    in the owners manual it says that if the S3 button blinks it means your tranny is faulty and to take it to a service place.

    but blinking S4..?

    New tranny I suppose? Hard to find RT4WD auto trannys around here.
