Pic request: "old school mesh"

Ive been looking around for a nice 15 or 14 inch wheel for a set of all season/winter tires for the wagon. I will be moving back into BC soon from California, and want to come prepaired baby!

Anyway, at first I was looking for a set of the LS mesh wheels. Someone has them on a car here, and I like the way these look. But then I found a guy selling a set of very old school looking mesh wheels in a 14 inch, this type of style:

The ones this kid has are black with a polished lip. Anyone running this style of wheel a wagon, and can you post a pic?

I want to use these for dirt and snow fun, so the more rubber the better, hence the 14 inches. If anyone has any pics, please post em up!

  • Found a BAD ass thread on HT with the old school mesh., in case people were wondering what the hell I was talking about.

Still unsure how these would look at the height I am running on this car (sitting pretty high, 4wd baby), but the 16s just dont seem to be offering enough tire for dirt/bumpy roads.

If I pick them up I will post pics. Need to sell my 15s and my Civic lowering springs first I think though.
  • Here is a pic of some BBS mesh from a VW. This pic is with the car at stock height.

I like the look, I think I may going for it.
  • Yeah I thought it looked good too. Gave it a nice look even at the stock height. Mine are 15's though and you said you were going for 14's. I have a pair of rare weds fans 14s but no tires or I would throw those on there and get you a pic also.
  • Id almost rather do the 15s, but we will see. If my 15s that I am selling dont go out the door failry soon, Ill repaint and rock those.
