which exhaust should i get...

ok it is time to finally replace the POS muffler that came with my car when i got it..

what i have right now, full 2.25 inch straight pipe with a shitbox installed. i've been reasearching mufflers now for a while and i narrowed my decision to three different brands,

-Thermal R&D
-Magnaflow
-Vibrant

now, i just cant really decide which would be the best they are all pretty much in the same price range for the application i want.... i guess my question is:

which would sound the most quiet, or serious? i just dont want to be heard as a "ricer"..ya know, that idiot obnoxious loudness. i just want something that is still heard, but not in your face..

oh, i am also getting a Vibrant resonator so that will help, but idk which muffler would sound the best.

    My muffler just fell off last saturday because they didnt plow the roads so i was doing it for them with the bottom of my car :evil: Since i work at a muffler shop i just did a custom 2.5 its all the way back its all we had guys i really didnt want to go that big. i put on a vx muffler(never heard of it before it was just on our shelf and said performance :P ) I think it sounds good it needs a resinator but other than that i like the way it sounds. for free i cant complain.

    My buddy had a magnaflow on his b series and i thought it was to loud and just to much of a ricer sound for me.

    im 80% sure on the Vibrant muffler.... coupled with an 18" Vibrant resonator i think it will sound nice.

    my idea of a good sound is being able to hear the engine as well as the exhaust, just humming nicely in the background. on the other hand though, i want it to sorta be louder just not stupid sounding when i accelerate hard. it must be the kid in me.... :lol:

    a nice big intake makes the most lovely, perfect sound, and only when you accelerate hard.
