  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Thanks everyone, you can use any shots you like. I like the height now but I really want to lose some wheel gap. I like your's a lot more, Martin! lol

I tired on wagodizzles ''bra'' when he was over for my BBQ and this is what it looked like, one side wasn't pulled tight but you get the idea.

haha, i didnt know you took a pic. looks good though, of course :P
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I'm ordering one when I get paid! lol

I think it looks great and it also helps hide my dent until I get my body work/paint done. I hope I get this second wagon! It's the color of Trev's.
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
yeah dude, that would be baller. i was hoping to get 2 wagons, but i got "stuck" with a hatchback instead. oh well, in due time i just may get a second one soon..... as well as a 1998 Odyssey, 1954 VW Beetle and Bus, 1975 Civic CVCC.....Honda AN600.... you get the idea haha.

Haha, nice! I want a JDM Shuttle or something along those lines in due time. Only other USDM car's I'm interested in Honda wise is a cb7 Accord or DA Integra four door.
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
to have an imported JDM or EDM car would be tits. until i have hookups or just an ass of money, that wont happen for a while haha.

i had DA 2-door. and it was quite a fun car. with 333K miles on the chassis though, the bushings squeaked like crazy which was annoying. overall a sexy vehicle though 8)

I hope my girlfriend gets that EF Si. I'd love to have two wagons! I was thinking of selling my Blazer and getting them both painted, having my creme dropped on ls' and my silver stock looking.
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
yeah dude, sell the blazer then make two minty wagons 8) that creme one with a fresh spray would look sick and slick lolz.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Yea, I want painted bumpers on both! The body on the gray one is mint from what I can tell from pics. It's about 130 miles away so I have to figure something out lol.

A photoshop done by a friend with a set of first gen MR2 rims.

Also, I got my trim piece mounted that is missing by the rear wheel. I painted the outer door piece between the front and rear windows. I'll wash up and post some shots later.

mm, that'd look good dude. it matches great.

that thing looks slammeeedd tho, is it really that low? or is it just from where he photoshoped it?

is that truck touching your rear bumper?
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Nah, it's not dropped yet. I have coilovers ordered for now, so it will be a mild drop decreasing the wheel gap close to wagodizzles height. Once I get the second one up and running I will get a camber kit and slam the almond cream wagon. Here is the original picture.

  • michaelhinkle1michaelhinkle1 Senior Wagonist
i like the current height, i wouldn't slam it, the height goes well with the rims and colors. what size rims are those? 15's? 16's? they look good.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
Their Acura LS mesh rims. 15x6. If I don't get those MR2 wheels I will just get these painted bronze with a polished lip.

  • michaelhinkle1michaelhinkle1 Senior Wagonist
mm that bronze looks sexy. what kind of paint did you use?
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I didn't paint those, but they used Duplicolor paint and Duplicolor rim clear coat. Of course he did a detailed cleaning job with mineral spirits.
  • michaelhinkle1michaelhinkle1 Senior Wagonist
i would of used high heat paint, thats what i fogged mine with. i've heart from the brakes getting so hot it can cause regular paint to chip and bubble pretty quick.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I think the cleacoat sealed it to help with that. I'm not sure, but it could of been a high temp rim paint for all I know.
  • michaelhinkle1michaelhinkle1 Senior Wagonist
if it is, thats a +++

i'm going to fog my stock rims either white or a satin black, i dunno which yet.

it's really really hard to sand down in the tight holes in the rims.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I repainted my stock rims, check the first page of this thread. It wasn't too bad, especially if they don't have any significant damage.
  • michaelhinkle1michaelhinkle1 Senior Wagonist
dude, what'd you use? and what color is it? clear coat? what brand, etc.

    that looks good as shit.

what grit did you sand with, primer? etc.

    thanks.
  • RevmaynardRevmaynard Council Member
I'll check the cans tomorrow. I just used a hard to light grit to sand down then paint. I actually need to redo one since it got cold and rainy by time I did the last one. I was doing them one at a time since they were my only wheels at the time.
