the correct way for a USA market Wagovan and DX wagon is BLACK bumper and mouldings.

    stock painted wagovan/DX:

the correct way for a USA market RT4WD is black mouldings and painted bumpers. but only the part under the moulding strip on the bumpers are painted.

    stock RT4WD paint:

NOW...(to make things complex) certain EDM and JDM wagons had full painted bumpers and mouldings as well as door handles and mirrors.

-it all depends what look you want for you car, whether you want it too look stock or JDM/EDM whatever the hell... :D

Loving that cream wagon! I've always liked that colour on any version of Civic/CRX. Reminds me of a nice, smooth vanilla ice cream!!

The fart that Wagodizzle described is rather gay.
  • Yeah no kidding. I think wago has to wipe after that one. Probably a little wet.

I'd suggest against painting any bumpers or molding that weren't originally painted over simply because those areas are usually very porous and will be hard to keep the paint to stick. You'd prolly have to sand the bumpers/moldings FLAT, and then apply your primer. I've seen way too many hondas with painted bumpers that were done poorly and the paint just starts chipping after a while.

It all depends on how all the moldings and bumpers a prepped...Yes they need to be cleaned, need to be sanded and primmed. All those parts were black on my car now they are painted and match the rest of the car perfect. I agree. Ive seen quite a few Honda bumpers done poorly. I guess you get what u pay for.

agreed on preparations. My main concern was the bumper and how they almost have a plastic film or clear on them that make it a huge pain. But then again, who the hell wants orange peel or an unflat surface that doesn't match the rest of the car anyway lol.
