Low clutch engagement

My clutch seems to have two engagement points. It will start pulling the car forward just a millimeter above the floor, and then it will really engage a couple inches higher (where I would expect it to.)

Is this normal for the 4wd clutch or is there an adjustment to be made?

    When you push down on the clutch pdl w/ur hand.How far down can you push b4 u feel a harder resistance. :?:
    It should be about a inch(25mm).

    The clutch feels normal, other than the fact that the wagon will "crawl" forward if I let up the clutch just a hair in 1st gear.

    how many miles do you have on that clutch

    Not sure. Either 47,000 or 167,000.

    Does the 4wd have a hydraulic clutch? Maybe I need to change the fluid. I know my CRX is a cable clutch, but it feels a lot different.

    Should be cable clutch? Theres a knob for adjustment in the engine bay, follow the clutch cable out of the firewall and to the gearbox, mounted on the gearbox is a knob...

    4WD is also cable.not DSL :lol:
