90 rt d16y4 swap

Hey guys so I got a jdm d16y4 motor to swap out for my d16a6 the only problem I'm having is the oil pan of the y4 won't clear the transmission and the a6 won't line up with the y4. Is there any way this can work or has anyone done this swap before? Any help would be great thanks.

you need the oil pan from a RT4wd - it is specific to the car. and are you using the RT4wd engine mounts? what doesnt line up?

Yes I'm using the same motor mounts for the rt and rt oil pan but the holes done line up for the rt pan to bolt up

Did you use the RT pickup as well? it goes with the pan

Does the y4 engine have mounting points for intermediate shaft? As far as I know last d series engine with these points was d16z6 (only one from all 5gen's).

Then no, the Y series won't work without the hush adapter.
