Band Wagon
Hello all from Wisconsin. I am the new owner of an all-stock '91 RT4WD with the manual. It came up to the Chicago area from Tennessee, so I'm happy to say it is rust free - something pretty unheard of in these parts of the country. The guy selling it got it from his friend down there who moved abroad. I ran the carfax on it and confirmed that it has been in TN it's whole life, with one owner from 1991-2010. The car was featured on http://bringatrailer.com/2016/05/24/rare-awd-6-speed-wagon-1991-honda-civic-rt4wd/ as well as http://jalopnik.com/for-3-950-this-1991-honda-civic-shuttle-could-be-your-1778614160. My first car was a '90 CRX Si that I had for almost 10 years, so I am happy to be back behind the wheel of an EF! I have kids now, so it's a perfect move from the CRX.
138k with some dents and dings all around. Hope to slowly get the body back in to shape. Hood/bumper are my first priority but they are obviously not an easy find!
Engine got hot on the ride home - need to get that figured out
Want to do the timing belt/water pump right away. No idea if/when they were done before, so I'm playing it safe.
Anyways, glad to be here. REALLY glad this forum exists.
