Just bought my first 3rd Gen wagon and it's amazing! 5speed low miles bought it from its original owner. Looking to build it up but just need some advise and knowledge since it's my first carb Honda motor, etc. Any help or advice would be grearly appreciated! Thank you

    Get a maintenance program going, starting with change both fuel filters. Clean fuel = happy carburetor. Pick up a FSM. If you are going to be doing any of the work on this vehicle you will need it. Also, there are few professional mechanics that understand the compound systems of these 30yr+ old engines. Begin searching for one that you can work with and exchange ideas with when something goes south. Lastly, drive it. If it's running properly now, chances are it will continue to do so with normal maintenance interventions.
