side mirror glass(removal)...Solved

i just got my EDM power mirrors in and the drivers side glass is smashed :x how can i changed this out? i tried forcing it to pop out but i dont wanna break anything sooooo anyone know the "real" way to do it? or do i just have to wait till i go to the junkyard and practice over there...

    underneath the unit thers a hole. use a phillips screw driver to losin the screw. dont take it out all the way you might lose it and puttin it back is a pain. the mirrior should pop out easy. pry from the out side first. peace and have fun

    OK. How do you change the glass in a non-power side mirror, and will other 4th gen glass fit in wago housing?

    prolly the same way. the glass is held in with a pin behind the plate that "swivels." undo the pin then pop the plate out.

    glass is the same dimensions as any EF

    im thinking there will be a way to do a DIY on a manual->power mirrors, gonna wait till i have more time to investigate. i'll let you guys know =)

    I ask because I bought another rh mirror, perfect but no glass from that bronze junker

    i'll look into it soon enough whenever i head to the local yard over here. it doesnt look too hard though.

    I was gonna get a glass to put in it while at the yard, but EVERY rh mirror was gone but one, it was powered. I'll find one.
