Engine Won't Start and Flashing Codes

Howdy All! So little Urban Brown won't start again. It turns over and almost seems to want to catch, but just won't do it. It's flashing a 3 and a 5 so it's indicating troubles with the MAP sensor, but would a bad MAP sensor stop it from starting? I'll start digging into it in a day or two since I've got the morning shift this week, but I was curious if anyone has ever seen a similar situation?
