Filler bolt & rear bushing replacement Bulletin

Band Wagon
I've inherited a 91 4WD wagon which has been citified (lots of body dings) and has 255K but runs very strong. It has what I see as one VERY serious problem: Some idiot stripped the steel transmission filler bolt so it's almost round. Took it to a friend's shop and because of the clearance he said the trans would have to be removed to get the bolt off. I'd like to check the fluid!!
Not related to this, another problem is it pulls left on throttle and back to the right on liftoff. Les Schwab (tire store) thinks replacing all the susp bushings will cure that. Makes me wary of them.
I checked one of the posts and it appears replacing the front bushings is easy but the rear should prob mean replacing the lower control arms - Lester wants $400+ EACH for that... not incl labor.

I worked for Liberty Honda in CT for 2.5 years. Ive replaced that bushing. The easiest way to replace the bushing is to use a air hammer w/ a chisel.
Then push the on bushing in with a axle nut socket. I hope that helped.
BTW i work at les schwab infact im writing this from one of our work computers. as far as the pulling did u get an actual front end check or just tell them its pulling?
Thanks for the info so far!
