HandofBoB's Wagon (Update Nov. 23)

Here is my wagon. I've had her for a few months now. I got her from my dad as an automatic and have since changed everything around. She now has mpfi and manual, as well as a painted engine bay (including all the bolts), wire tuck, and lowered on Skunk 2 coilovers. I am in the process of putting in Si seats. Saving for the password battery tray, going to put the new brake booster on as well as throttle cable. Looking for fenders. Now lets hear some comments. :)

Nice Job, How long did it take you to do what you have done?
I like the wire tuck look. :)

Thanks. It actually took me about 3 weeks to do, just lazy at posting pics. The longest part was the wire tuck which took about three, 6 hour nights. One good thing is I have about $700-$800 in her total. I got the paint for free and the motor too. Just getting little nick-nacks was the expensive stuff, not to mention registration.

Its about time you posted! J/k. I like how all the bolts look brand new. Great job with the engine bay. And the wheels look pretty good on there.

When you painted the bay, did you just let it dry in your make shift booth or did you "bake" it>? are you also going to paint the body?
  • Looks nice man! I would personally relocate the battery and It would look a lot better!
  • Yeah, definately good work. Keep it up :!:

Thanks for all the comments guys. I just let the paint cure naturally, its Florida where the temp. is always hot. I am trying to find 90-91 fenders so I can start the body work. Undecided on what color to paint it. As for the battery I know its ugly, I want the password tray that locates it on the frame rail, you never see it.
  • Looks good.

Looks really nice and I like the choice of color on the engine bay. Just as a suggestion, you could 2 tone that car in it would look sharp...

And what is a password tray to relocate the battery? Tried doing a search for that in the forum and no luck.

Here is the Password tray. It keeps the battery up front which keeps weight up there. My friend has this on his CR-X and I love it. It looks so sleek and really cleans up the enigne bay.
