ebay window visors

Hey not sure if any one has picked some of these up get but I just put some on my car.
There not bad. 3m adhesive on the back.
Plastic looks good no ripples.
On the other end though there not cut very good - the drivers and passenger side pieces were not identical so they don't go on the same.
but if you don't really care there ok

    did you buy them?
if so can you post better pictures..
I have been wanting to buy a set but I'm not sure.
If they are kinda off i'm not sure if want to pay $70 for them.
For $250 I can get a set of OEM used from Malaysia & they are the metal ones that clip in..
I would probably have to repaint them but oh well...

Will take some more pics in the morning
If your going for a perfect fit these aren't the ones for you
If you don't mind if there a bit off than than there pretty good.
better than getting some that 250 dollars for your daily driver or getting some that aren't for the car and trying to make them fit.
At the end of the day is just a accessory piece

    Tru Dat

For about a year or so I have been thinking about making a DIY Vacuum Forming
Maybe its time to try this out!!
If it works it could be used for a lot of parts!!

    Dye a Plastic

    This might work??

Fuck ya that will work lol
But I'm thinking i would just spend the 70.
The time you would invest in to that thing plus how many time you gonna use it.

It sounds like you are the seller!! & I bet they were made with a homemade vacuum form.

There is an unlimited number of interior parts that could be made with a vacuum form, not just windows visors..

I was thinking I could Vacuum Form the rear JDM compartments or make a custom box that would fit perfectly in the back using the plastic panels from the CRV so the plastic would match perfect..
Hell I could make a center console and arm rest!!

I just talked my-self into making a homemade vacuum form.. Once its built I will start a thread!!!
  • Window visors could be made using a vacuum form.

Anything you're making though, just gotta account for materials thickness and if parts are to be bonded together the right type of adhesives.

Good luck though, DIY stuff like that is always fun and often frustrating =)

Dang I guess I didn't think about all the applications.
Vacuum molding sounds like a game changer for hard to find parts.

It does sound like I'm selling these doesn't it lol
  • Yeah really all you'd need to do is build the proper form for the visors and then vacuum your plastic over it. They even make smoked polycarbonate that would work just fine for it if you wanted the tinted look to things. Then just trim the excess off and polish the edges. You could even go so far as to incorporate clips if you wanted it clip on vs tape. All depends on how much effort you want to go to and how much you're willing to charge if you're selling them
