My Beagle Fotos! (Greetings from Austria!)

Ok i try the second Time.
And sorry for my English.
The old Beagle from my Father is......
So i looked in the Net for a "new" one. But no Chance.
There was only one in the Net with 300.000 Kilometers  for 3.000 Euros  bad Condition. No

(We have a lot of Beagles in Austria, but no one wants to sell it and there are a few Points you have to look at.
Hard to find one in good Shape.)

But a Friend of mine found this Beagle in very good Condition, but the Price was..... (4.000 Euros, EZ: 1995, 133.000 KM, 1 Owner).
But i bought it for my Father. Im a Beagle Fanatic, so the Price dont mather.
There are a lot of new Parts on the Beagle
(In German: Ventildeckel, Krümmerblech, Achsteile, Unterbodenschutz und Konservierung neu, etc)
So the Price is ok. But it was a Risiko. I only saw Pics in the Net, bought it and the Dealer send the Car by Truck.

Very nice Shuttle i think.

Two Winter Fotos of my Beagle on the Way to my Cabin/Almhütte (Is the english Word right?).

(160.000 Km, Im the second Owner of the Car, good Technik Condition, EZ 1995).
I took two Parts of the Air Intake, so the Sound is very funny. Quite loud, nice.
(In German: Verbindungsgummi zum Luftfilterkasten abgezogen und Plastik Ansaugteil überm Kühler abgeschraubt.)

Very dangerous Way, but no Prob with the Shuttle.
(I know you dont need Snow Chains to drive the Way up. But on the Way down to the Valley its quite dangerous to drive without.
There are a few Points on the Way, where its better dont look down.
A half Meter beside the way and you can jump out the Car and pray to Jesus.)

If you want i can send more Pics.

It has to be "cheap" and easy to drive,..... .
Its a Horror to find the perfekt Car for him, that he like.

Hard to say, i dont have truly Infos. But i think about 60-150.
The Beagles in Austria are all from the Year 1995 and a few one from 1996.
But normaly no Chance to catch a Beagle without Rust.
Or to find one under 150.000 Kilometers (no Miles ).
And the most Owners did not care if you have Money, they do not sell the Car.
  • Wow that is a great find....now that it is 2008 I can finally import a right hand drive beagle from Japan, my wife has given me/us the okay. Love those interior pics, great find I am jealous...

    Cheers

Nice Beagle! Wish I have all those options. Factory Mooroof and power windows.

And a few Beagles run with Air Condition.
I think thats normal Standart for Amerika, but for us it was Luxury 1995.
    Our old Shuttle had one.
BUT!: The Shuttle AC has a Gas Filling and thats absolute unusual. And nobody can make a Service today.
  • Willkomen !!

What great pictures... specially the one with the Beagle beside a Hummer.

The irony with that picture is that Arnold Schwarznegger (a native Austrian I believe) helped popularize the gas-guzzling, road-hogging Hummer and now, as governor of California, he finds it politically expedient to promote "greener" vehicles.

Again, welcome to the site. You have a great looking vehicle.

Sorry to hijack the thread but how is your cabin (or maybe cottage) built?

Is the first floor built out of rock and plaster? Is the second story built entirely out of wood? Also, those are tiles on the roof right?

    Also, who built your cottage?

The reason I ask is becasue I used to build houses for a living and my family built our own cabin back in 1984 after a fire destroyed the original cabin built in the 1930s by the first occupants. Our cabin is built entirely out of logs, with a plywood roof and asphalt shingles on a wooden foundation supported on native rock and cement pads.

    Cheers !!

AC + PS + PW were standard features on All Shuttle 56i, RTi and Beagle/Beagle-X's from Japan. Seems like it was different for the European market.
  • The snow pictures are awesome, and the Beagle is sooo clean! 8)
  • Picking my jaw off the floor after looking at those photos. I can only dream that I'll find one that looks that nice without having to spend a long time cleaning it first.

The first and the second Florr is build out of Plaster (It only look "old").
The Wood is for the Old Look, for "Decoration".

@Wago Dude. Yes youre right. I didnt belived it, but the Stable below ist about 150 Years old.
And the big Mountain Cabin below is much older about 200 Years. I would sleep there no night.

(Here at the end of the Way its dangerous in Winter. Here an avalanche can go off.
In Summer a hurt Cow felt hundereds of Meters down in the Valley.
And in Summer it is possible that handlarge Stones come down, kicked loose of Cows.
But the old People know the best Places for the Cabins, they built them below big rocks.)

  • Thx for the great pics... Looks real comfy.

It is definitely a cottage... or even a holiday home.

In what mountain range is it located?

I'll post pictures of my cabin soon and you will see the difference between a cabin and a cottage.

    Cheers !!
  • The cars and the cabin look excellent!! The country also looks exceptionally beautiful. I'm going to have to add that as a place I need to go before I die.
  • Lets have a Look when this Beagle is sold.

    KLICK HERE

    Its new in the Internet.
There was also one at EBAY Austria, sold after 1 Day.

hope it helped to settle your doubts :)

  • Hi Friends im back....
(Sorry for my terrible English, is only the Scool English.)
And its nice to be back here, and the Beagle Mania starts again.
I bought now the 4. Beagle, from a old Man who stop Driving.
He drove only 9000 Kilometers the last 5 Years.
    Only 109.000 Kilometers
    Great technical Condition
And for Fun i asked Honda Austria how many Beagles they sold in 95-96
    What do you think?
Honda Austria sold 461 Beagles and now comes the Hammer!:
In 2009 there are only 18 Beagles on the Roads.
This Car is extremly rare now.
I only know at this Time the green Beagle as a right Hand Drive in Japan and a left Hand Drive in Austria.
The few left Hand drive green Beagles you see in other Parts of Europe, goes of the austrian Market "Gray Import" to other Countrys.
I did not have many Information from Swizerland.
But i know one in red with a Plastic Front Bar in Swiz, a Beagle from the japanese Market.

When the Car is ready with my personal Options, i put Fotos in the Net.
    Friendly Greetings from Tirol/Austria!

  • An actual Foto from my Beagle (The Foto with the black Windows).

(When i see the Fotos here from my Fathers Beagle i can cry. His one is now in very bad Condition, he dont care about a Car, he use it. Sometimes without Oil, sometimes without Water. But we alway fix it for him, and the Honda run. But the Rost is a Devil on the Cars here, in Winter they trow a lot of Salt on the Streets.....

Last Sunday i bought a second one for 300 Euros.
And this Week (my Summer Holiday Week.... ) i worked on this Car to get the Beagle in a better Condition.
So the rare Hondas lives on.
