Pm6 ecu for mpfi conversion

So I found a pm6 ecu listed as d16a6 sohc non-vtec. Is that the right ecu for the conversion?
im planning on converting my fuel injection to multi point, also obd0 to obd1 (engine swap in the future).

do I need a vtec ecu? Let's say I'm going to swap a b16/18 in the future.

for OBD-0 MPFI conversion you need a PM6. if you're doing an MPFI and OBD-1 conversion you'll need something else, P28 i believe for SOHC VTEC..
  • i agree with wagodizzle. p28 is obd1 sohc vtec. i have a pr3 in my sohc vtec obd0 wagon. it is from a obd0 b16 civic sir.

Ow... Should I even do obd1? I'm not getting engine swap anytime soon (probably next year). Still going to use the stock d15b2
  • obd1 has better tuning capabilities. i had an 89 si civic, lsvtec obd0 with a pr3 computer, but when i turboed the car i went obd1. i actually went with a xenocron chipped, and socketed p06 (obd1 sohc non vtec) but they set it up for vtec and turbo.
  • i think it would be easier to do the multi point swap first, then down the road do obd1 swap. they are both pretty straight forward swaps with the correct diagrams, but i would do one at a time, it would be easier to backtrack if theres a problem.
