Stock wagon height specs?

Looking for stock height measurements on both two wheels and RT Wagons 88-91.

Anyone with stock suspension, if you could take a measurement between the center of your wheel hub and your fender lip on flat ground both front and rear, it would be a big help!

PS: Only take your height measurements from the hub to the lip, as anything else takes in tire pressure ground clearance etc etc.

Thanks!

  • Alright, I got these measurements off my stock 91 RT4WD.

Front - 15" on both sides
    Left Rear - 15 and 3/8"
    Right Rear - 15 and 5/8"

    Hope that helps ya.
  • That’s perfect!

So just to be clear, this measurement is from the center of the wheel hub to the fender lip on each corner, correct?

I was installing my KW coilovers, and because I made some changes to the springs, I wanted to see what I was below stock height on my 88RT. Unfortunately when I purchased the car it had a pretty nasty spring setup on it.

    Thanks again!
  • Yep, from the center of the axle nut to the fender straight above it.
  • Rocking!

I wanted this lower than stock. Maybe Im getting old or somthing, but slamming a vehicle with 4wd just dosent appeal to me. I want this thing to be a good snow and winter vehicle! So I only was looking for an inch or so. This mesurment helps ALOT. Thanks!

hhmm ill have to measure my wagon its got the DA springs and struts in it to see if its actually taller it seems like it is but it might just be cuz i had it slammed almost a year....

Check it out for sure. There is a lot of "this will get you this" floating around, but I havent seen much in the way of actual mesurments. Im still not totally happy with mine. I LOVE the height its at, but becouse I had to use a longer springs to get it, I am runing into binding issues.

I am going to try a shorter spring in the front and a perch this next time around. Ill see if I can get a picture and some mesurments for everone soon.

Thanks again for the good info Eldonciv!

ya i tottaly spaced it. i need to unload my tools so its a fair measurement. if i remember ill do it tomarrow before work starts.
  • I should get some stiffer springs for the rear. I had 6 people in my wagon on new years eve (one sat in the hatch area). It was kinda seriously weighted down, but it surprisingly didn't feel horrible.

So I should either get coilovers and put them on with my illuminas, or heavier springs.....I'm thinking coilovers.

    okay i measured mine....

    88RT4wd
    90-93 integra springs
    90-93 integra struts
91 si CRX rear LCA's with poly bushings

    fronts
15 3/8" maybe even 15 1/2" too close to call

    rears
    17"

that is on flat level ground without me in the car. i dont know if the crx lca's with poly bushings would make a difference i just wanted to be specific.
