Keeps Over Heating when A/C is on!!!!!

So I have done everything in my power with research and also had a mechanic look at it.

New Radiator, new thermostat, new water pump, new belts, new pulleys. My wagon keeps over heating when I run the A/C. Also long as I'm stationary it runs fine. Once I begin to drive it begins to over heat. I turn off the A/C and temperature settles to normal. Yes the fans turn on when its heats up. I have done every search possible and cannot get this thing to stop overheating. This is Florida A/C is a must here. What else am I missing here?

  • What's the charge on the AC? Overloaded it could be bogging things down too much. I'd also wonder if the cooling system is clear. I ran some cleaner through mine. The simple green HD metal cleaner. So much garbage came out and I did notice a change in where the needle was when it got to temp.

I dont know the charge on the A/C. However, they conducted a flush when they installed the new radiator. I will have them check out the charge.

    thanks
  • If the coolant system is solid then I would say could be the AC compressor on its way out putting too much load on the system. Is it a sanden or a matsushita compressor? Check the hose arrangement on it to tell.

Is your a/c fan working well?

yes the a/c fans are working well. If I'm stationary with the a/c on the car is fine. It's only once I start driving.

When did this A/C prob start?
Does both fans come on when you turn on the A/C?
Probably not the prob ,but are both fans blowing air inward toward the engine?
