  • i put a zc in my rt4wd, you will need an ecu for the zc and run 2 wires for the 2 added injectors. assuming you are going with an obd0 zc (far more common) everything else should line up, however you might need to modify the injector harness.

Read the guide for DPFI to MPFI for single cam (its the same as what you will need for ZC), then just alter the wiring for your dizzy that is different for ZC

but the ZC is a OBD0? so I would need to do is rewire my ECU to a MPFI and do some wirings for the injectors and resistor box? and also my distributor depin to MPFI... that I I would need to do right?

okay I lets get this right... the ZC motor is a Direct drop in... all I need to modify is my ECU, the wirings for distributor and wires for injector and resistor box... correct?

    I would need a 88-89 integra ECU

    a 88-89 integra Distributor

    and 88-91 resistor box CRX/Civic

and I should be good right...? the D15 tranny should also bolt right in with the DOHC ZC motor correct? if anyone has a diagram with injector wirings please message me it or post it on here thanks and share your infos would be a good help too me! thanks!

Like I said, find the guide to swap OBD0 DPFI to OBD0 MPFI (there is at least one on this forum already), once you have done that you just need to alter the distributor wiring at the distributor end.

You need the ZC, with ZC ECU, ZC distributor, any resistor box.

Not sure about the gearbox, I know that DOHC ZC gearboxes are slightly different than SOHC ZC ones but I think they cant be interchanged, again that information is on here already
  • go to an internet search engine and enter: dpfi to mpfi harness conversion

Then, look at the image results. You get all kinds of helpful information... like this: http://honda-tech.com/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/diy-dpfi-mpfi-swap-made-easy-2889205/
  • I know that a d16a6 ecu will work with your zc. The integra ecu will just give you more of a giddy up, because it dumps more gas. I had my dohc zc hooked up to a crx si ecu and trans. But I do believe u can solder the resister box wires together instead of installing one. But I would wait for a second opinion because im not entirely sure
  • Also if you have extra money and dont feel like dealing with the mpfi conversion there is a guy on ebay who sells the zc conversion harness. Its all plug and play. His name is monotech.
