3rd gen civic issues.

I drive this wagon daily and it runs fine the whole day. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like it accelerates slower and slower(slight difference nothing dramatic) the more I drive it. For the past two days (always around night time), once I press the accelerator it will die. Next day runs like nothing ever happened. Then the whole cycle again. What could be the issue? So far I have changed rotor for the distributor, not the cap because it was not in stock but Oreillys ordered it for me I picked it up today, air filter, both fuel filters, spark plugs, and wires. Oh and igniter coil works just fine. I've done a lot of research on red pepper racing but could not find my answer.

    I changed fuel pump and distributor cap today. The car will stay on but once I tap the accelerator, it turns off. I turn it on again it then it immediately turns off without tapping the gas pedal.

    Changed the distributor cap, spark plugs, and wires. I reinstalled old fuel pump and cleaned the carb with carburetor cleaner. Runs good. But when I go to set the idle at 750, I turn off the car for a couple hours and thenngo for a spin but after it warms up it goes back up to 1000-1100 rpms at idle.
