86 Panda Wagon

Well, I decided to go for the wagon. I think 500 bucks was a pretty good deal. 1986, 5 speed, 170k miles, little bit of New England rust. Needs passenger front strut and CV joint. She'll be home tomorrow! Engine runs like a dream. Has a bunch of newer parts. I'm so happy to have a wagon. Come this summer, she'll be getting a new interior.

  • Congrats man, I think that is a great buy. It is super hard to find straight wagons.
  • Thanks man. I got really lucky, I think. Clean title, clean carfax, just needs a little suspension tlc and I should be good to go.
  • Well, I just got it registered today! Turns out she's an 87, not an 86.

Here are some pics of the less than stellar interior. Does anyone know what the front seats are out of?

They look like EG sedan seats to me.

Also, sweet custom job on that wiper switch, lol. It's a nice project though, good luck.

Well, I've ran into an issue. After three days on the road, she's decided she doesn't want to shift anymore. I might have to part with her, as I don't have the space or time to really do her justice. It was fun for the three days it ran!

that sucks that it wont shift. maybe its just a simple clutch issue?

let me know if you do part with it. I'd buy a few things
