Thanks guys, its been tough to say the least. I’ve been set back so far its sickening. I had to literally buy back my second wagon to recapture the spare parts I had last year @ this time. I was fortunate in that respect but now the focus has changed. I wanted to send my car to the body shop but that’s not going to happen soon.
Not to mention that I have the worlds greatest parts hunt going on besides. I’ve had so many parts go thru my hands due to flakers, time wasters. EHH! I have a certain look in mind for my wagon and I hope I can carry it out. Its slightly different from the standard themes. I want to shoot for non-average factory look if that makes sense.
Oh, and btw. What I got ~moneywise~ from the accident was peanuts. It would be barely cover the cost of a new fender paint and install. So you can imagine when I got the check. I was like %$@# It just means more money out of my pocket, like going backwards. Plus the hood alignment is tricky now, headlight bucket seems a slight off and so on. I have sourced new headlights, this is going to be custom as well. It should be a culmination of 3 different types. If not maybe 2.
The ef9 bumper and the support bolted directly on(no mods whatsoever), the wagon filler piece was used but needs a little work to do the job. I used a 1st gen teg lip to make up the bottom lip. Personally, I don’t like the bottom lip. It makes the front look too short.
The main reason why I posted the pics was due to the fact that I wasn’t sure how the front end ‘truly looked’. I mean basically that the stock bumper is shorter but lower. This bumper is longer (horizontally) but shorter (vertically) and makes the front end look higher. The lip helps but it needs to be bigger and lower. Walk around the car and you’ll kinda see what I mean. I should do vid & upload it to show you but I need more time. Not to mention I paid a grip for the bumper & its tweaked, scratched and the wrong color. WTF! Paint may only help to bring out all the flaws.
I will have more work done soon, plus I’m waiting on my wheel to come in. I am also on the fence about ordering another set of wheels too, I’m so indecisive.
Lol, yeah needs more than a bath ma-frien wouldn't hurt though
