Steering Knuckles: Interchangeable?

Are 88-91 steering knuckles from the other models compatible with the RT4WD? I've heard differing opinions: some say they all work, some say they're wagon specific, some say they're compatible by year, some say they all work except EX knuckles.

Anyone want to settle the score?

    Any of the smaller front brake civics from 88-91 should share knuckles. Only the EX had the larger brakes with the longer caliper mounting ears on the knuckle.
