oil light on and flickering spun bearing? Or is there another problem

so I was driving the oil light had come on. It was flickering on and off when it got really hot for a long drive it would stay on people tell me its a spun bearing about to spin if that makes any sense meaning that I'm going to have a noise soon but I drove in the car about over 300 miles now and haven't gotten one yet I put a manual oil pressure gauge in and still no reading! please help would like to hear anything anyone has to say that could help it's dseries d16z6 block y8 head rt meaning awd tranny

    No oil pressure and oil light is on....yep that engine is stuffed. The more you drive it the more you will damage it, may need new crank, new cam etc etc from oil starvation

    yeah my engine would do it for acouple weeks and then one day my rod went thru my oil pan, cause- piston rings .

    so let me ask you this you're telling me there's no oil getting to my head but when I had pulled off my oil cap there was oil all over the place bouncing around in there you have any other exclamations to find out if this is for sure spun bearing

    It doesn't mean there is no oil getting to your head. Most likely it has "low" oil pressure which is causing the light to flicker or stay on. Did you check the oil level in the vehicle? Was it low or right on?
