Wagon of the Month GUIDELINES

with growing members on this board and the several different ideas and such that make each of their rides special i thought it would be nice to have a Wagon of the Month for members to showcase them and then vote for their favorite rides. we will be following this timeline/schedule on how the system will be set up. the following is an example schedule for months with 31 days:

SCHEDULE ----

-Jan. 1-20 members post best photo (ONE ONLY) of their wagons under the thread "wagon of the month contestents - February(etc)" [this thread will be stickied under "wagon multimedia"]
-Jan. 21-28 members vote for their fav. wagon on the given Poll. [this Poll will only be added during the week of voting, that is, the 21st-28th]
-Jan. 29-30* wagons with ties compete a final round. also the 30th will be the LAST DAY TO VOTE for "WM" (wagon of the month) for February.
(*assuming there will be ties.)
-Jan 31 WM anounced for Jan. winning member will be recognized and will have the oppurtunity to post his/her best pictures in a WM gallery. this will be a stickied thread under "wagon multimedia." titled "wagon of the month- Feb." winning member can then write a brief description, history, features etc. on his/her gallery as well.

Months with 30 days will have the same except the WM will be annoucned on the 30th not 31st. February being a short month will have the following schedule:

Feb. 1-18, 19-25, 26-28(29)


the month in which we are voting (ex, Jan.) will be for next months WM, for ex, Feb.) as soon as the winner is announced this cycle would repeat during Feb. for WM March, then for April etc.... hope you arent confused yet haha.

ENTRIES ----

members will post up their "ultimate favorite" picture of their wagon, assuming they want a chance to become the WM for next month. (please keep pics under 1024x768 pixels) they will post only ONE PICTURE of their ride. in each entry members can and are encouraged to give a little background history of their wagons. for example, year of purchase/ownership, best/most unique feature(s), what you like the best of the car.. etc.

also a simple list of mods, as big or small as they maybe. i think this would be a great way for everyone also to get more "in touch" and "in tune" with what everyone is doing/has done to their cars and perhaps be an inspiration to others.

the opputunity to post pics will run till the 20th. at that point there will be a Poll added with members names and you guys will be able to vote. the Poll will last from the 21st-28th. at this point wagons with ties will run a new Poll from the 29th-30th. (oh, and please don't vote for yourself :roll: )


WINNERS!! ----

winning WM will then be given a new Post that will be Stickied by one of the Mods. this thread will be called "WINNER Wagon of the Month February." winner will then be able to post up as many pics as he/she wants given they are under 1024x768 pixles. fellow members will have the oppurtunity to ask questions and such about this winner during this month. after the month is over the thread will be locked and a link to this thread will be put under "wagon of the month archives." [should you want to see past WM quickly and easily]

a winner cannot enter his wagon again into the contest for 12 months after his win.

MEANWHILE ----

while this is going members will also now be placing entries for next WM and then eventually vote, etc etc etc...
