Contemplating a zc swap

Hi, I need to replace the motor in my Rt wagon and I'm trying to determine what I'd be in for if I went with a JDM ZC motor. Has anyone here done this and care to shed some light on it? I'm not doing for to gain HP, I just like the idea of having a relatively fresh motor in there so I'm open to the SOHC version but if its no more trouble to go with the DOHC version then I would just as soon do that (I don't need to go vtec right now). I've been digging around on the web for several hours but I can't seem to find a consolidated source of info to answer my questions. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I just want to what sort of Mods I'd be in for and what to watch out for when buying a motor, thanks.

From what I can tell the SOHC zc is essentially the same engine that is in the car already except for a having a different cam. So I'm assuming if I were to get a 88-91 engine it would be a direct bolt in. Can anyone confirm this?
